About Free For All Cupcakes

Free For All Cupcakes was conceived by sisters Jeanny Lee and Janice Kim, both of whom are lawyers with a love of baking and a firm belief that eating dessert is an inalienable right.

Jeanny left her career in corporate law to pursue a far more demanding calling: motherhood. Her three daughters have nut allergies and each of them had allergies to dairy products at various times during their toddler years. As a result, Jeanny began experimenting with dairy-free cake recipes on the belief that no child should be denied the fundamental right to a delicious birthday cake. Eventually she developed gluten-free recipes for people with a gluten intolerance, and thus the concept of "free" cupcakes—cupcakes "free" of unwanted ingredients—was born.

Janice, who still practices law, takes the baked product to the next level and makes sure each cupcake looks as good as it tastes.
